Portrait III. This is a French Bulldog I saw as I was out on a walk. There's nothing really special about this photograph except that I continue to find it amusing that people transport their pets on their scooters, and this fella was nice enough to pose for me.

Coffees in Vietnam VI. Black Vietnamese coffee at Hanoi Sandwich House. The first meal I had in Hanoi, and in all Vietnam, was here—just a vegetarian banh mi that was quite good, if expensive relative to bahn mi elsewhere in the city, and an americano. The sandwich shop was next door to the apartment I was to temporarily stay in before moving to the apartment I would be for the remainder of the month in Hanoi.

Portrait I. This guy said something to me and gestured to my camera. I guess he wanted his picture taken, but he didn't show much interest in the image after I took it. He said a few more words to me, which obviously I could not understand, and so I left. It was a rather odd encounter, but the photograph isn't too bad.
