Well, hello there.

Why The Cosmological Eye? I aim to photograph that world from the perspective of the eye of God. This is easy to do as we are all the eyes, ears, noses, mouths, and skins of God. It’s based on the title of a Henry Miller short story collection, which, incidentally, has nothing to do with photography, but H. Miller’s writing is autobiographical, based on lived experience. In fact, this was all he could write about and all he had interest in writing about. Additionally, he wrote a short piece, one might call it a portrait, of Brassai, a Hungarian photographer living in Paris at the time whom he admired. He titled this essay The Eye of Paris. So, there is some connection between photography and Henry Miller even if it needs to be measured in some small degree of separation with regard to titles of works and their contents.
